XP: A diaper question.

I'm trying to buy ahead the larger size diapers and I was wondering about how many you guys went through? I know every baby is different but I just want a ball park figure.

My LO is in size 1s but she will be moving into 2s within a few weeks.

I have the following:

 

  • 200 size 2s 
  • 360 size 3s
  • No size 4s yet

    Whoa - that's a lot of diapers.  I've never bought ahead and I'm glad I didn't - my son blew through size 2's pretty quickly and has been in size 3's for a few months now.  I think he went through about 6-7 size 2's per day, maybe a couple more.

    I honestly don't know how many we went through, but it seemed like he wasn't in 2's for very long before we moved up to 3s.  He's been in 3's for a while now.  The 2s were short on him- that's why we needed to move him up.  We will probably have to move him to 4s soon for the same reason.

    The size 2s were gifts people bought from amazon so I can't return them. I never would have bought that many 2s.

    We were in size 2s for about 2 months...I think about 650ish diapers for 2 babies.

    We are now busting out of size 2's and ready to go to size 3.

    Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!
    4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!

    We used nb for about 7 weeks, then a box or two of 1s, half of which didn't get used.  Size 2 for about a month I think and size 3 ever since.  Pampers seem to run a bit smaller than others--we used them for 5 months and are now using Luvs.

    We have used 2 (150ish) boxes of size 2 and just ordered 1 more.

    I have learned this about diapers:  DON'T BUY BULK lol We breeze through sizes.
