teething & diarrhea?

My baby's got the runs! Well, he did yesterday, anyway. I've heard that it is and isn't linked to teething... some say it is, some say it isn't...

He didn't/hasn't had a fever, no other sick-like symptoms, and the only thing I've been feeding him more of than usual is bananas - but he didn't have a reaction when we first gave them to him.

And this morning I was letting him chew on my fingers - and his first tooth has just cut through!!! Big Smile

WDYT? Related to the teething or possibly something I should be concerned with?

    Teething.  All of the extra drool they swallow waters down stool.
