if lo is allergic to eating wheat, would me eating it cause a reaction?

my pedi suspects that my lo had an iisue with extra muous and trouble breathing episodes due to me introducing wheat into his diet, but I have been exclusively bf'ing his whole life and I always eay wheat.  Could he have a reaction to eating a food with wheat and not a reaction to the wheat in my milk?

  • I would say he could react to both scenarios, but it's possible for him to only react to one.  It depends on the severity of his intolorance.  Wheat/gluten is one of the top four food allergens and can cause all kinds of issues.  I'm reading "Dealing With Food Allergies in Babies and Children" and "The Parent's Guide to Food Allergies". You might find these helpful.
