Diaper Duty... clicky poll!

After driving home from my parents' yesterday, I looked at DH and said, "I didn't change a single diaper this whole weekend!" It's pretty awesome... we visited both sets of parents and they are all about getting used to newborns again... it took his parents 10 minutes to change a diaper.

So I am wondering who changes the most diapers... I change all of them during the day (about 5) but when DH gets home he changes them, and he does them overnight so I can get the boob out for DS. How does it work at your place?

    If DH is spending time with her and I am busy or he is getting up at night to feed her, he will change them. Other than that it is mostly me. If I have a dirty diaper I tell him that the next one is his. He doesn't see why we need to rotate those.

    I voted for me mostly because I am here with the boys the most so I have a routine down.  Even though our oldest is 16 months old, DH still "forgets" that he has to have his diaper checked/changed every 2 hours or sooner if it's bad.  He does his fair share of diaper duty but I generally have to remind him.

    I probably do more during the day since I am on mat leave but he probably does more at night since he usually gets the baby for me to feed him.

    I'm with Connor all day so i have diaper duty all day. When H gets home, he takes over for the most part.

    I do most, since I'm here all day and I do the night time feedings during the week. DH does most changes when he's here and during the weekends (including overnight feedings/changes).

    Since I'm home with LO, I change the most. DH makes up for it on weekends though :)

    I do all the day time diapers. When Mr.MM gets home, he does them. Even if I'm holding her. Weekends when he's home we trade off. Although he still does more than I do since I'm the only one that gets up with her in the night.

    I end up doing more simply because I'm home with him during the week.  But at night and on weekends, DH and are about 50/50 (he probably ends up doing more because he'll usually take night duty over the weekend so I can sleep through the night).

    If DH is around then he is on diaper duty since I EBF including night changes. He works from home, but during the work day I do the diapers then so we don't disturb him. We cloth diaper, and I am on laundry duty but i swear he is better at putting on the diapers than I am.

    I do them during the day but once H is home from work it's all him, haha :) On the weekends he does it too for the most part. Any that need changed over night though are mine as I don't wake him up to help through the night if L is up at all.

    DH changes 1 diaper a day...maybe 2! He is at work all day and I do nighttime feedings so there isn't too much opportunity for him to, but still..lucky guy Stick out tongue

    dh only changes diapers during my 5-6hr sleeptime and that usually only ends up being like once or twice.  i get the rest of the days diaper changes which is usually 5 or 6 times.  and dh hates changing poopy diapers so sometimes he'll wake me up for those.

    it kind of works like that here too. i change both kids during the day when dh is at work, and when he comes home he picks up what needs to be done. i do seem to change dd more, but that just because dh is keeping ds2 busy when i'm feeding her and she needs to be changes. but if ds2 needed a change, dh changes him and vice versa. its really no big deal here.

    DH maybe does 1 diaper change a day if that and it's usually because I am getting her bottle ready or washing/sterilizing them.  Even if he's got her he doesn't think to change her diaper and I have to ask.
