Success after IF

So who else is part of this massive storm today/tom.?

I saw on the news that this storm is covering 30 states today and tomorrow. Since we are all over the country/world, I thought I would see who is going to be seeing it today/tom.

What kind of weather are you getting from it? Snow? Ice? Rain? A mixture?

  • We are getting a very small amount of freezing drizzle this morning (just enough to be a PITA) and then it is all snow for us. 6-8 inches here!! The worst part is that tomorrow we will have snow plus wind which will make almost blizzard like conditions. Good thing I am off work tomrrow.

  • They're calling for a little bit of everything down here in East Central IL. Whatever happens, it's guaranteed to be icy and windy as it always is during the winter whenever it precipitates. Of course, the strethc of highway between our house and my office is one of the most dangerous in the area.

However, we can't complain. Since December, it's really not been bad here. Currently, we have almost no snow on the ground because it was above freezing over the weekend.

  • We're expecting up to 10 inches of snow here on Tuesday/Wednesday. It sounds worse for many other places, though. Man, I hate winter!

  • We are supposed to get 20-30 cm (about 10-12 inches) of snow starting Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.

It's a bummer because we had plans for lunch since it's Restaurant Week here on Wednesday.

  • Michigan here. We are going to get up to 14 inches I think. Of course dh is traveling again. That will be fun to shovel by myself with 2 kids.

  • They're saying up to an inch or two of ice for us and already warning about power outages, but who knows. Cities just to the north are predicted to get 10-15 inches of snow. They're wrong so often that I don't count on the forecast. But I wouldn't mind a day home from work...as long as we had power! :)

After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!

This is exactly how we feel here too, they can never seem to get the forecast right...but we don't live too far away, so that makes sense!:)

  • I think they are calling for a mix for us here but they were seriously wrong about a storm last week that ended up being MUCH worse than they called for so I think they are consciously being vague about what to expect this time.

  • We are getting a dusting of snow tonight, then it is supposed to sleet tomorrow and eventually turn to rain.   They aren't calling for any real accumulation so the only real pain is going to be slick roads.

  • In Boston we are getting about 6-9 inches in the afternoon tomorrow and then there is another half of the storm for Wednesday they are not sure about yet. They say it could either be another 6-10 inches of snow or an icy rain mix.

It has been such a crazy winter here, we have about 5 feet of snow already and no place to put all this crud. Plus, it seems to always snow on Wednesdays when Dillon has his Gymboree class, I wish it would pick a better day lol

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

I had heard this. My parents are supposed to be moving tomorrow (my family is in STL) and of course there is going to be ice/snow everywhere. They may need to move in the not so fun weather.

  • looks like we are being spared :)  just a couple inches today/tonight and then freezing rain, followed by regular rain is tomorrow's forecast
  • They keep interupting the shows for the "blizzard warning".    We are supposed to get 1-3 inches tonight and then by tomorrow night into Wed am upwards of 20+ inches.    Also the wind is supposed to be 50mph......yikes!!!!

Heading out to do some last second shopping before the bottom falls out.   I HATE winter

  • NY here...  We are going to get hit tomorrow and Wednesday.

I will have no spring break and be going to school well into July....

  • I'm in the Quad Cities - they are calling for and inch or two later on today, a few more inches during  the day tomorrow, and then up to a foot from Tue night to Wed morning with high winds.  We'll see if they're right.  I teach at a college and wouldn't mind a snow day!

Really hoping Indy doesn't get that much.  I'm not in the mood to be off of school or delay with people who go 70 on 465 with ice.

  • We're getting ice and snow today and very cold temps the next few days.  I think our high is supposed to be in the negative tomorrow.
