I saw on the news that this storm is covering 30 states today and tomorrow. Since we are all over the country/world, I thought I would see who is going to be seeing it today/tom.
What kind of weather are you getting from it? Snow? Ice? Rain? A mixture?
Re: So who else is part of this massive storm today/tom.?
They're calling for a little bit of everything down here in East Central IL. Whatever happens, it's guaranteed to be icy and windy as it always is during the winter whenever it precipitates. Of course, the strethc of highway between our house and my office is one of the most dangerous in the area.
However, we can't complain. Since December, it's really not been bad here. Currently, we have almost no snow on the ground because it was above freezing over the weekend.
We are supposed to get 20-30 cm (about 10-12 inches) of snow starting Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.
It's a bummer because we had plans for lunch since it's Restaurant Week here on Wednesday.

They're saying up to an inch or two of ice for us and already warning about power outages, but who knows. Cities just to the north are predicted to get 10-15 inches of snow. They're wrong so often that I don't count on the forecast. But I wouldn't mind a day home from work...as long as we had power!
we're expecting 4-8 by tonight and then another 12-18 tomorrow into wednesday. BIG storm. I'm kinda excited to spend the day hibernating inside. Forget the bottled water, I'm stocking up on hot chocolate!

This is exactly how we feel here too, they can never seem to get the forecast right...but we don't live too far away, so that makes sense!:)
Ugh, I think I'll be working from home tomorrow!!

In Boston we are getting about 6-9 inches in the afternoon tomorrow and then there is another half of the storm for Wednesday they are not sure about yet. They say it could either be another 6-10 inches of snow or an icy rain mix.
It has been such a crazy winter here, we have about 5 feet of snow already and no place to put all this crud. Plus, it seems to always snow on Wednesdays when Dillon has his Gymboree class, I wish it would pick a better day lol
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I had heard this. My parents are supposed to be moving tomorrow (my family is in STL) and of course there is going to be ice/snow everywhere. They may need to move in the not so fun weather.
They keep interupting the shows for the "blizzard warning". We are supposed to get 1-3 inches tonight and then by tomorrow night into Wed am upwards of 20+ inches. Also the wind is supposed to be 50mph......yikes!!!!
Heading out to do some last second shopping before the bottom falls out. I HATE winter
NY here... We are going to get hit tomorrow and Wednesday.
I will have no spring break and be going to school well into July....
Ugh.

Really hoping Indy doesn't get that much. I'm not in the mood to be off of school or delay with people who go 70 on 465 with ice.
