Good place for a 2 yr party?

We can't do it at our house (not really party friendly) but given it's early May I think we should have it inside. We had it in a Park last year but also had it 2 weeks later, but I would really like to have it  the weekend after his birthday this year.

We live in EP but anywhere around the South to West side would be great. I am guessing there will be around 6kids. Also I don't want to spend a lot of this location.

Thanks

  • GL with this! We're struggling with it for C's next month and not sure where else we'd go in the middle of winter.

  • My friend had her 2yr old's b-day at The Little Gym, I think there is one in Burnsville.  Her son had a bunch of kids at his party so it was perfect.  They had an hour of planned activities and then they have a room for food, cake and presents.

  • So after looking at a lot of places last night (so thankful for websites) I think we are going to look into the Children's Museum. The Cost is $160 (with membership or $185 with out) for 20 people ($6 a person after that) plus everything we will need. We just come & enjoy :)  Plus we are doing Curious George thyme so that place will fit right in.

The other option is Choo Choo Bob it's only $125 but I think we will hold off on that one until next year.

We would love to do the Zoo but that would be over $300 & most our guest have zoo memberships so it's pointless to pay for them. Also the zoo will still be in remodel mode so I don't know where we could have the party at.

We just attended my cousin's kid's 2nd birthday party at the zoo.  There were about 10 kids plus parents so the number of people was a little bigger.  We had the party in a "conference room" by the grizzly bears.  It was a really neat set up.  There wasn't much for organized events.  They basicly just put out some pictures to color, temp tatoos, and scratch art for the kids to play with, and then for the last 15 min a zoo keeper came in and talked about a few animal bones they had.  It was a really neat idea, but like you said, with your numbers of only 6 and everyone having a membership, it might not make that much sense.  I enjoyed it since we don't have a membership, we got to enter for free :)

Glad to hear you had a good time. I can see us having one at the zoo when he is a little older (one where parents don't have to come along ). Thanks for the review

  • My daughter demands Underwater Adventures every year.  It's a little spendy for the actual parties, but if you just go there its a great time.

This.  It's 225 for a party https://www.underwaterworld.com/main.aspx?id=659 but it you have a membership you save 30.  Also it's changing to Sea Life their renovation is done in early March

Also thanks for the info on Choo Choo Bob's I think we are going to have to check that place out.
