Success after IF

If you have a nanny...

What do you do about the food situation for them?  Do they bring their own food or do they expect you to keep food around for them?  My kiddos are still little so they aren't eating real food yet so I'm not sure what the norm is.

Thanks!!

Re: If you have a nanny...

  • I used be a nanny/personal assistant (talking 5 year or more years ago) they did ask me what kinda of stuff I liked. They kept lunch meat and easy stuff around for me but I did bring my own stuff sometimes.

  • Our nanny brings her own lunch (she is only here 1 day/week).  We usually have baked goods around and always make it clear she should help herself, and she does.

  • Our nanny brings her own lunch and snacks for the day. Although I told her her is welcome to anything she wants- but she sticks to her own stuff.

  • We've told her she's always welcome to what ever we have.

We eat kinda weird food and I notice she doesn't usually eat food from our house but she also doesn't bring food either.

I've asked her and I really do think she just doesn't eat during the day at all.

    And... she looks like it.

If she's night time sitting for us I have seen her eat dinner so maybe she's a breakfast and dinner only kinda gal?

    IDK.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

  • She usually brings her own lunch, but she's welcome to eat anything we have.
