Do you take a daily vitamin?

Multi or other?  For the last few months I have really been dragging so I figure I'd start up my multivitamin again.  I didn't change anything else.  Still running for 30 minutes or so (almost daily), on level 3 of the 30 DS, and the Christmas cookies are loooonnggg gone.

I have gained 2+ pounds.  Wth?Confused  I'm not looking for a big loss, just some toning (plus, I sleep so much better when I workout)

The multivitamin is the only new thing.  This isn't my first time doing the 30DS, I usually use it as starting point for getting back into a workout routine and I have never gained that much weight doing it.  On another note, I do weekly measurements and they jumped up last week (not AF either).  I'm baffled.  Then I googled it and think it's the multivitamin.  I see my doctor next month for my annual exam so I'm going to ask him about it.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

  • I'm EBF so my Dr told me to continue taking a prenatal vitamin.  I've been working out the last month and only have about 8 more lbs to go to get to pre baby weight minus 5 more lbs. I've been drinking water with lemon all day to stay hydrated and maintain energy.  It has seemed to work.

See, I'm wondering if I'm just not pushing the water like I should be.  I read that helps with the vitamin doing it's job.  I'm not a huge water fan, but I keep a reusable 20oz. bottle around that I fill daily with water and a Crystal Light packet.  Typically I do one in the morning and then I sort of forget about it until I workout.  Then I fill it with water and the Crystal Light grape fitness packet.  That's usually it!   I joined my sister's Biggest Loser challenge team to help them gain points and to be more accountable to my workouts, water intake, etc.  I need to quit slacking on that I guess!

  • I take a daily vitamin and sometimes a vitamin C supplement as well (mostly if I feel a little off, or if I've been around sick people, ect).  I actually take 2 children's gummy vitamins!

  • I take Shaklee vitamins.  I take a multi with iron and an immunity booster.  Haven't been sick (knock on wood!) since Oct. when I started them!
  • I do take a vitamin.  Right after I had the babies I continued with a prenatal, and now I take a regular women's multi.  It is very important for things like iron and calcium.  With BFing I could totally tell I needed it, and now I can tell when I miss it, I feel drained.
  • I still take my prenatal vitamins.  They are free at Meijer and my doctor said that there was really no reason why I should not be taking them, so that is what I take.

Good levels of Iron, Calcium, Folate, and B vitamins.

Anyone can be cool, but awesome takes practice!
