  He first woke up about an hour after going to bed (same as his typical schedule in the crib) but instead of taking him to our room, DH laid with him in the bed so he'd go back to sleep and was able to sneak out about 5 mins. later. He slept another 2 hours but when he woke we didn't feel like doing that all night so just took him to our bed. We're not the strictest about sleep, in case it isn't obvious. Still he didn't come to our room until 11:30, which is about 2 hours later than usual, so it's something.

  We'll try again tonight and will try to keep him in there longer but we'll see.

  I hope you ahve better luck than we do.  DS is 2 and DH still sleeps with him. I did up until LO#2's birth.  He will wake up randomly and scream if no one is there.  We just sleep in his big bed.  It's queen on teh floor.

  I hope tonight goes well. Even if it takes a couple weeks to work up to a full night, you'll be so happy for every hour you get to sleep with just your hubby!
