So we decided on our stroller today after trying some out at the store- we *love* the Bob revolution!
Here's my question- I originally was going to get the snap & go plus the Bob, but there's an infant carseat adaptor for the Bob, and now I'm thinking maybe I don't need the snap & go?. I know it might be slightly easier to get in and out of the car with the snap & go, but to be honest we're in a city and most places we'll be going with baby we'll walk to. We'll also have an ergo carrier if need be. Our house is small and I'm thinking storing two strollers could be a lot of space...
What do you think?
Re: Bob Stroller + adaptor- need another stroller?
Hrm -- an interesting question. You could solely use your BOB.
If you're in the city, you're going to find that the BOB is BIG and hard to get into stores and restaurants. And hard to fold and get out of the way. You'll get the stink eye from many a store owner and patron.
The Snap n Go is great for: going anywhere in the car, FLYING (so easy to check at the end of the gangway), and shopping when you need to put lots of things in the undercarriage basket (the basket on the BOB is a joke).
Also, isn't the front wheel fixed making it harder to use (except when running)?
We are planning on getting the snap and go and then getting a BOB later. You cannot run with your child in it until they are 6 months (I think) even with the car seat adapter. If I remember correctly they can easily tip over?
Lost Lilah (Audra's twin) at 26 weeks. Cause unknown. Forever in our hearts
We are going with the Baby Jogger Summit XC. It's very similar to the BOB Revolution, but has a hand brake and the same amazing fold as the City Mini. Same price too.
We are skipping the adapter bar and snap and go phase and instead using an Ergo. As of now, we're planning to skip the infant bucket car seat, so this works best for us.
