Alright ladies, I'm trying the eggplant tonight!

So I'm trying this tonight:

 Not only because I'm ready (my sciatic nerve started acting up Friday in ADDITION to everything else....) but because it sounds DELICIOUS. I highly doubt it will work, but my husband did have dreams I went into labor last night... haha. Anyway, I with post later on how it tastes and if I'm heading to the hospital. Maybe its magic!?

    Good luck!! It didn't work for me but I have had plenty of people tell me it worked for them!! :) But it was sooo delicious so even if it doesn't work you will have had a good meal.

    I heard something about it having to do with how much basil and oregano were used, that those spices tend to jump start labor more than the eggplant will.  That is probably also urban legend/OWT, but if you're doing the eggplant, you may as well go the whole 9 yards! :)  My DH makes spectacular eggplant parm, I am thinking about waiting until next weekend and then asking him to make it just because it sounds glorious right about now :)

    I am making it as well!!! My little eggplant slices are sitting on the counter right now and I am waiting for the moisture to draw out. :)

    I also seriously doubt that it will lead to anything other than a satisfied tummy (I hope). I have never tried it before and it sounds so good right now. 

    I will, however, throw in an extra teaspoon or so of oregano and basil. Just to make the message really really clear. ;)
