My mom and dad live in the same city I do but I really don't see them all that often. So, thus far it's been easy to hide the pregnancy from them. Today, however, they are taking Shannon to see a play so they'll be stopping by to pick him up. I've chosen a VERY bulky sweater that just makes me look my typical pudgy self as opposed to some of my maternity clothes that make me look 25 weeks pregnant. If I were skinny I probably couldn't pull it off all that well so I guess there are some benefits to being on the pudgy side of things.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

Re: One benefit to being fat
When are you planning on spilling the beans? You are my secret-keeping hero...I can't keep my mouth shut 1 minute, much less 1 whole trimester.
Ain't that the truth!
TTC#2=July 2011: Surprise BFP: Chemical Pregnancy
I'm actually not very good at keeping it a secret except from them. Although, I do have a life long friend I haven't told but that's because I know he would tell my sisters and then they my parents. Everyone I work with knows but I've had so many doc appointments they just guessed.
I plan on opening the door for everyone at Quinn's second birthday party with full-on maternity clothes on and then they'll know. I'll be right around 16 weeks then.
Sadly, I haven't wanted to tell my parents yet because I want to be past the point I lost Trey. My parents love me but they believe I should have stopped trying to have more kids after my first loss, so they weren't super supportive after my second and I didn't want to to find out how they would react to a third.

True, very true. I think I have an easier time with my daily Lovenox injections because I've got some much extra on my stomach I can always find a place to stick myself.
