I saw your response to my birth story. Thanks for the congratulations!

But, I also wanted to tell you that the major thing I wish I could have done was to RELAX. I honestly kept thinking that I was relaxed, but I really was not at all. I was scared about having a baby and about labor and just everything. If I had been able to relax, I think things would have started much earlier and progressed more smoothly.

 That said, if you want a natural birth or to not have a lot of intervention...I was really worried about pitocin because I thought i could not get thru the contractions without an epidural, but I did get through them.

So be confident and try to relax! I hope labor starts for you soon.

    thank you!! it is soooo encouraging to hear other REAL women's stories how they got through the pain and that i can too.  being induced wasn't my ideal birth plan but the past few days have been great in order for me to wrap my head around the idea.  i have been visualizing what it will be like and hopefully that will lead to a more confident labor :o)
