Thanks! Glad someone around here appreciates my OB's handiwork! I thought about posting a PIP challenge to everyone who had c-sections to show off their purdy scars...think anyone would play?
I saw the title of this thread and thought "what the hell did I miss". I went back and re-read the other thread. How awesome that you posted that picture! I would totally play but... my OB did me a favor (at least that's what another OB doing rounds told me). Mine is very, very, very low. Like, I would have to get waxed to put a picture up and it NOT be pornographic

Ummm yeah same here. If I'm not willing to get to the waxer for DH, I'm not going to just to post a picture either. Maybe someday that will become a priority again.

Wow you are lucky!!! So you can't even see your scar? That's awesome! I wonder if whether the baby has dropped determines where they make the cut? (S was stuck to my ribcage, he hadn't dropped one bit at 41 weeks...) I've never actually compared my scar to any of my friends' who had c-sections, might be something to do at the next playdate!
Wow! Kudos to you for posting the pic....I don't even look at my scar...I don't intentionally avoid looking at it...I guess I never think about it. But were I to post a pic, you would notice the stretch marks before the actual scar! The scar is so faint now...and really is the least of my worries.
I laughed when my OB said he gave me the "bikini" incision...Oh thank god...I can still wear those bikinis I've got in my closet!!!

No... you can still see it. It's RIGHT above the top of my... *ahem*... hairline :P And it's only about three inches long now. Go figure, because my belly is an absolute mess still. All giggly and wiggly.
There might be something to your logic! I carried super low. And I DID compare with one of my friends. I was shocked at how high hers was. Who knows!
I have to say I will not post picture but I guarantee my scar is the ugliest.
Mine is a lovely vertical thing from my belly button down. It's about 4 inches long. And it has been there for 20 years. I'm not going to say anything about the lovely matching stretch marks.

Both of mine are at my bikini line as well....and to boot, you can actually see both lines cutting halfway out. almost like she cut a "Y" horizontally....that is, IF I could actually see it, as you see my leftover twin belly still hangs over it! nice huh? LOL (sigh) I SO need a tummy tuck.....
Nicholas Jacob born on 06/30/2009, 9.5lbs and 21 1/4" long

Wow - my name's on here but I am not needed at all
Let's see, no c-section scar but if we're going be like the boys and see who's is bigger or badder, I could post pics from last week when I got my cast off after almost 8 weeks - lovely leg fur, even lovelier frankenstein scar.

I have a two c-section scars and they are very low in the bikini line. Both my kids were over 9 pounds with big heads. You can't really see my scars at all if you don't look for them. Like pp's I would have to go to a waxer (no thanks) to expose them. Plus I scar really easy, I have a terrible keloid on my arm from a surgery.
