I am a yoga teacher, that ironically suffers from anxiety! Since I found out a week and a half ago that I am pregnant, I have been meditating nightly. I found this helps keep me in a positive mind frame. Anyone else doing this?
You may like the book "Magical Beginnings and Enchanted Lives" by Deepak Chopra, if you are enjoying your yoga and meditation! I have loved the way he talks about the body creating a new spirit.
I've heard that it's pretty good for you so I'm going to a class next week to see if it's my thing. I'm pretty anxious all around so I'm hoping it'll calm me down a little.
If you search on Amazon.com you can find a visualization CD for pregnancy and 36 week meditations for bonding with your baby to use at home as well. I have the Cd, but do not have the 36 week meditation book yet, still waiting for it to arrive. I also found journaling everyday is helpful.
Re: Meditation During Pregnancy?
I will check it out! Thanks!

I've been doing walking meditation for years. I've never been able to do sitting meditation without coming out of it grumpy/crabby.
