Posted on the birth stories board. I just noticed this board so I thought I'd share it here too. I had a large, complex ovarian cyst w./ solid portions in my 1st pregnancy. It was presenting at my 40 wk appt, so I opted for the scheduled c-section the next day. They took the cyst out and the baby was healthy & overall it was a great experience. At the time, my OB encouraged me to try for a VBAC with baby 2. We had to move, so I found a supportive midwife who works in a great hospital. Took Bradley classes in 2nd tri, walked a lot the whole pregnancy, and took Evening primrose oil/ red raspberry leaf capsules daily from wk 36. Labor was LONG & a lot of work, but worth it to not need the c-section. Link to the full story is below!
