I'm chatting with my best friend on gchat right now and I made a comment about being a mother now and she said "But you're not a mother."  She's never been pregnant or miscarried so I know she doesn't know any better, but I just felt like my soul cringed.  I brushed it off and changed the subject, but I feel like crying.

    omg. I am sorry. Yes you sure are a mother. Some things you just have to let go, because people just don't know any better. smh.....

    Ouch! I am so sorry for your loss and for that comment!!  I have said before that some people just don't get it.  I made a comment to my mother about losing my baby and she said "It wasn't even a baby".  Some people are just insensitive, and some just don't know any better.  Either way, I am sorry that was said to you.  You were a mother the moment that egg and sperm hooked up!!

    I'm sorry for your friends comment and that you got hurt by it...I have a friend who does that to me every once in a while.  They do not know the loss, the feelings or what we go through.
