oh my!
I spent the ENTIRE day with 8 toddlers (need I say more) in tutus, in a tiny house with lots of glue, glitter, juice and frosting. 90% of the moms were rude and didn't lift a finger. there were LOTS of assorted tears and hysterical tantrums. I felt like the hired help because the poor hostess was so overwhelmed and couldn't handle the crowd. when I finally BRIBED "no-nap" ginny to get in the car we had to stop to get some milk. mmmmmmeltdown! there was a HUGE scene in the grocery store -- tears. I had to carry her. she wouldn't let me put her coat on. more tears. JUST to come home and have to deal with a sugared-up, let's beat the dog and draw with permanent markers on the hardwood floors, overstimulated and exhausted 2 1/2 year old. f*ck the princess party.
where's the cork screw?
