  • Me:

Perks of Being a Wallflower.  I found it on my bookshelf when I was cleaning last weekend and I realized I had never read it. ( or at least I don't remember reading it- anything is possible these days...)

  • 1) Solitude of Prime Numbers - so far I like this one a lot.

    2) Great House - just can't get into this one.

    3) I recently finished the Host (by Stephenie Meyer of Twilight fame) and am kind of ashamed to admit how hooked I got on it. Still don't think she's the best writer but the romance storyline(s) got me.

    *** It's funny because I'm fat ***
  • This legal thriller called The Lincoln Lawyer - it's the 1st in a series about this lawyer Mickey Haller.
  • Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult.
  • The Sentimentalists.  It won the Giller Prize here in Canada this year.  I got all of the nominees as Christmas gifts!

The last book I read was called "Annabel"...It is the story of a young child born with both girl and boy parts and her life growing up.  She was raised a boy but always felt like there was a little girl inside her.  Very good read.

  • Big, fat NOTHING since the twins were born -- and it makes me sad.  I have a student that is going to start reading The Hunger Games on her own because her class is reading a book that hits too close to home for her (trauma).  I told her I would read it along with her.  :)

Schmoodle, I ended up really liking The Host!  I almost dropped it about half-way through, but people kept telling me to keep going...and I ended up getting sucked into it.  Glad you enjoyed it!
