Success after IF

DD up ALL night...and a ?

If you are friends w me on fb, you might have seen my post last night about some neighbor kids ringing our doorbell and running off only to wake up the babies and make the dog go crazy! (And our doorbell has a few long chimes)  That was about 10:30ish.  The babies quickly went back to sleep and then 30 minutes later, Caroline was standing up in her crib screaming.  Her crying went on  ALL night if she wasn't being held.  I checked everything, fever, gas, changed wet diapers all night long, teething, bottle(even though they don't take them at night and we are almost done w. them)  etc. etc.  I even played the Rock-a-bye Journey cd.  Nothing would soothe her.  She just wanted to sing, and laugh all night.    Of course she would wake Nathaniel up too since they share a room, but he went back to sleep.  I finally set up the pack and play in the den and put on sesame street dvd at about 4am so I could lay on the sofa. She finally fell asleep after 5am and was wide awake at 7:15am.   This mama is Exhausted!!!

She has been sleeping since 10:45am and now its 1:45....How long should I let her nap till.  They usually go to bed at 7pm and I don't want this to happen again tonight!

Thanks for reading if you got this far:)

  • Ear infection? They don't have to spike a fever and this was always the first clue for us when DS1 used to get his (up all night, never wanting to be put down, etc)

    Hope tonight is better!
