Mine comes late Friday mornings and we always go out- to the gym, playdates, playground (when we are not buried under 3 feet of snow), to the library, etc. and then we have lunch at our favorite local kid friendly restaurant.
Our cleaner is still usually there after we get back from lunch, but is always done with the upstairs so I can put Lily down for her nap. It is a really great end to the week.
My housekeeper is usually here from 9-3. We are out of the house from about 9-11/12, so during that time she cleans upstairs. I come home to feed the kids and put them to bed. I stay upstaris while she finishes the downstairs, because I always feel as if I am in the way.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no, depends on the day/time. Most of the time, I am here for some portion of the cleaning. I usually try to stay on the other floor or take the kids up to our 3rd fl. playroom.
They don't start until next week but I've let them know that I will most likely be here. I did make sure to pick a time (1:30) when I know Jackson will be up from his nap so that's not disrupted. This first time, we will probably leave the house but thereafter, we'll have a newborn and until things calm down with that, we will probably be here while they clean.
I gave them a key, though, so I can have the flexibility.

She comes from 9-11:30/12...it pushes DD's nap time back a bit but we just go out and run errands and go to the zoo/aquarium. Unless DD is having a meltdown we just stay out until she's done.
We purposely are out of the house while they are here cleaning. They're here from about 9-11 every other Friday. I don't like having to move around to get out of their way-too much of a hassle for me and I don't feel like the house is clean if we're already in an area messing it up while they're still cleaning.

I used to SAH when the cleaning crew was here. Too much of a hassle to shuffle around. I leave the house now.
