Losing my mucous plug

After being sent home from a failed induction on Wednesday I have been desperate for any sign of labor. Well this morning I woke up and was losing my mucous plug! woo-hoo. That should mean that my cervix is at least opening, right? I have an appt Monday to get my cervix checked so I am hoping it is dilated more and I can be in L&D the next couple of days for another induction or possibly go into labor on my own. So please wish me luck that these babies are on their way!!!

    Good luck! I lost about 3 huge chunks of MP yesterday. I'm hoping that it means something for me as well.

    I lost most of my MP around 33 weeks and didn't dilate until 37 weeks. I'm hoping that your case is different and both of you are in labor soon! Was there any blood with it?

    And... failed induction?! ::shudders:: I can't even imagine! After mine stalled out, I was so relieved to have the c/s. Wishing extra speedy labor to you, my dear!

    Thank you!! It wasn't too bad, just extremely disappointing. And there was no blood in the MP, it was just very jelly. But I am calling my OB if I see a spot of pink, lol!

    My MP was dark brown jelly. (Sorry if too much TMI) It seriously jiggled like jello, and it was gross. The first really huge chunk that came out looked twisty, half reg. stuff and half brown blood mixed and ever since it's been brown jello! It's pretty gross. I'm really hoping it means something, my due date is next weeks and I'm getting nervous at how big my kids were- and they were early.
