Has anyone ever heard of this cartoon? Its on the Disney channel in the mornings from what I've heard. My boss was telling me about how he was trying to get a stuffed Oso doll for his son and he can't find it anywhere online - I just found it on Amazon for $190.00! Who would ever pay that for a stuffed animal?!

What is the deal with Oso? Is he the new beanie baby or tickle me elmo, or is it a really decent cartoon worthy of checking out?

he's annoying. Maybe they don't make the doll anymore. Isn't that what happens when things get very expensive on amazon?

he is super annoying & i don't think the show did as well as disney hoped so there probably isn't much out there

Hm, I'm not sure - I did see a review that Disney was planning on releasing more "Oso's" in March. I think he's just so popular that he is selling out quickly.

I would guess it's so expensive because they made them a few years ago and now stopped making them. We wanted to buy Rosie some Yo Gabba Gabba figurines a few months ago. They were originally sold for around $10, when we bought them they were almost $30, and now they're up to $50 on Amazon.

Yeah, he's just a cartoon.. Nothing special about it.. I don't think he's that annoying..but the toy must just be discontinued, and people on amazon are always trying to sell discontinued stuff for a ton of money..

I know they had oso toys at target at christmas time because Eve would yell OSO! everytime we'd walk by them even though we hardly watch that show. I don't know if they still have any.. and I don't think any were stuffed.

Tyler really likes Oso. He really likes the way they break down the activity into steps, it just seems to make sense to him to approach new things in steps. It has not been on for very long, I think it premered about a year ago so there aren't a lot of episodes out there. But yeah, Amazon is not a very good predictor of price. Oso is on the newer side. It started in 08, but they're still cranking out new episodes. Perhaps Disney is just waiting to see if it catches on before producing stuff? My DD is just getting into Oso. We saw a few Oso toys at Target. Not a stuffed animal, but little rubber/plastic figures of Oso, Dottie and Wolfie and then Oso has 3 vehicles. I think we'll start to see a lot more. We're heading to WDW next Sunday so we'll be keeping our eyes out, I'm sure.

Oh no.. Eve has started to LOOOOOOOOOOOVE little einsteins too. last week our cable was out so I put on Baby Einstein videos and they all have Little Einsteins previews on them.. so then she was asking for "Other Einsteins with Rocket!" all day long, so we had to go get a DVD from the library.. She loves it. I just set the DVR to record a few so we'll have them.
