Question for mom's of girls

Every time I change Charlotte's diaper she has a white vaginal discharge. Is this normal for baby girls? I know they can have some bleeding but I did not know about this. It is really weird after having three other kids that I would have any questions but I have no idea about the whole girl thing.

    So glad someone posted this. My baby girl is 4 days old and we noticed that yesterday too. I'm curious what others say about this.

    Totally normal.  Just spread everything apart and wipe Smile

    BTW, I have 2 dds.  DS is coming on Tuesday and I may have some questions about changing HIM!

    Haha!  I'm in the same boat- 2 DDs but I'm nervous about finally having to change a DS!  I agree, the discharge is completely normal!

    Very normal.  Just be sure and wipe all folds and get it all out.

    Same thing here... freaked me out. DH remembered the nurse saying something about it and I totally don't remember her saying anything. Kinda weird though, isn't it?
