I know every LO is different, and it may be a case of 'it is what it is", but thought I would ask to see if you know of any tips to help out..............
LO used to sleep 8pm to 6 or 7 am.......that was for a few weeks. Then, all of a sudden, she started waking up at 5 am, on the dot. Like an alarm clock. Now, some mornings she will even wake up at 4:30...... :-( Ugh! I miss the 6 or 7......I can do 6 am, but 4:30 or 5 is a bit painful.
If there is nothing I can do, oh well. But I am up for trying almost anything.......
any thoughts???
Re: any tips for "helping" LO sleep in a bit later........
I just posted this below too.
I DO NOT take DS out of his crib before 6 a.m. unless something is seriously wrong. I give him back the paci or seahorse and go back to bed. Sometimes he does, sometimes he'll fuss for over an hour. He's never resorted to hard crying, but even if he did I would not change what I do.
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
This is what we do now, as well. DS used to wake up at 5am everyday. It got old quick! He now wakes at 6am most days. Sometimes he'll wake a little before 6 and like Dreamsicle, we don't go in. Sometimes he cries, fusses, falls back to sleep- regardless we don't go in.
I never go in right when she wakes up..............always wait at least 20-30 mins. Sometimes try to wait an hour.
But that doesnt seem to stop her from waking at 5 am.on the dot.every day!
