Update on my first Clomid cycle

Well, I am a ball of nerves right now. I took a test on Friday morning and it was a BFN. Called my doctor and he said based on my levels he is still pretty convinced I am pregnant and that it is just early. He said an at home test can take a while for some women to show up as a +. I am going in on Monday for a blood test. I would really appreciate thoughts and prayers!

What "levels" is your doc going off of? How many dpo were you when you tested yesterday?

My progesterone was almost 82 on Monday. I am 13 dpo today so 12 when I tested yesterday.

When we were ttc on clomid with #1, my progesterone was really high and my ob told me the same thing. When you google it, everywhere says that progesterone levels do not indicate pregnancy. I didn't end up being pg that cycle. I'm sorry...I hope you just tested a little too early. On the good side, you ovulated! If this cycle isn't the one, I hope your next cycle results in your bfp!

I told DH that we need to stay grounded and not get ahead of ourselves just yet! Since this was my first Clomid cycle I have nothing to compare it to so I am trying not to get too excited! Thanks for your input! At least I know the meds are working even if they don't result in a BFP! :-)

I agree with goodgollie.... high progesterone doesn't necessarily mean a BFP. One time I had a 67 progesterone level while on clomid, but I wasn't pregnant.

I hope your doctor is right though. Crossing fingers for a BFP.
