I can't believe I still haven't updated you guys!

(and thanks to dundas and nicole for checking in about it love you guys!)

I had posted about a month ago about the possibility for us to buy a perfect little home, when we really didn't think we would even be able to afford to move into a new rental (I HATE where we live now, too small, no yard, falling apart)....

well, we realized we could swing it with an FHA loan, and the sellers accepted our offer, and we close on the 18th!!! AND the appraisal amount ended up being lower than the sale amount, so we had to amend our offer, and they accepted that...so it's even less than we thought...and the inspection was wonderful...it's an older home, VERY well built, and in a really nice little neighborhood that is full of families..

I am so so so so so THRILLED, we took the kids to see it and they loved it It has a little yard, a living room and a den (which will be the play room) its a single level, which i will LOVE...ahhh, im so happy.

Please expect many more posts about decorating..because im an idiot about that stuff, really i have been on the move, in temporary dwellings my whole adult life, so i have never really made any place a "home"..i will need help

CONGRATS!!!!!! I'm sooooooooo excited for you!!!! Kiss butt for getting a good (then even better) price!!! We just closed on our new (to us) home yesterday! I have owned a home before but this could easily be our forever home:) Isn't so exciting to know you are moving out of a place you hate?!?!?!

I hear ya on the decorating thing. I know things I like but, I super duper suck at putting things together. I had to pick out paint colors asap and I hope I did okay Huh? , I'll find out tomorrow! If I can tell you one thing from owning a house before is, paint before you move in if you are going to paint! It is the biggest pain in the @ss if you don't!
