Went over to pre-school board and got slightly freaked out

How can my baby be getting so old?!?!?!?!?  I saw a picture of a soon-to-be 4 year old and she looked like a little girl!  AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

(sorry, I shall try to contain myself... thank goodness DS is small for his age - I can live in denial a tad longer!)

I have definite mixed emotions about DH often being the one to do some of these firsts.  On one hand, I probably won't be the one to drop him off on the first day and I'll miss out on that experience.   On the other, I don't need to remember to bring my dark sunglasses, either!

  • I taught DS to say "I'm mommy's little baby" whenever DH says he's a big boy. Hehe.  Though now DS keeps saying "I do it by myself" so it's not balancing out anymore. :(

I'm secretly glad that his late october birthday will keep him home an extra year :)
