being a newbie stinks

Anyone else feel this way? It takes time to build post counts and I hate that my posts are probably judged just because I'm new to posting (did do my lurking though!). I really only have the short time at night between when LO goes to bed and I go to bed to come on to TB and I just feel like it's going to take foreeever to be taken seriously. Sorry for the slight vent, probably just my exhaustion talking :)

    I can tell you that a lot of people don't even notice points. But they'll know if you're a newbie who asks an FAQ that's elsewhere on the page, or if you don't introduce yourself.

    Be patient and you'll likely find a home somewhere.

    Being a newbie does stink sometimes i feel like most of the girls are already friends and so close so when they see someone new they ignore them

    They are! Just slowly poke your way in, and eventually it was like you were there the whole time, haha. I lurked a long time before I started posting.

     

    I get where some of their frustration is, some of them have been their long and it's annoying for them when new TTC members complain about not getting pregnant the first month.

    I feel the same!  Do you guys just hang in your birth club?  I'm not even so sure I know how this whole site works but I know I'm having fun with it!  By the way, can someone tell me what siggy means??  haha!

    If it makes things better for you -- I'm a complete newbie! I'm still trying to learn the lingo and figure out all this fertility information. Right now I'm completely lost :/

     no kidding.... seeing other newbies torn to shreds from asking a simple question is intimidating....   If they don't want to answer, how hard is it to ignore?
