Teething 2 month old?!

Could it be possible that DS is teething? He's constantly got his hands in his mouth and is drooling all over the place. He chews on my shoulder when I am holding him. He's gotten a lot more fussy in the last week or so since the drooling/hand chewing started. Could he really be teething at 2 months? I lurk a lot, but don't post often. Thanks in advance for responses!

I can't help with the siggy pic but I can tell you my sister got her first tooth when she was about 10 weeks old, so it could be that. All those things he does are definitely signs of teething. I can't think of anything else all those together could be. HTH

I was just getting ready to post this, my baby Billy is 2 1/2 months and I noticed today the tip of a tooth!!! Hes been super fussy and sucling his hand and yesterday he was even sucking his brothers hand!

My mom told me that when I was a baby I teethed when I was 3 months old so yes it is possible!

It's a possibility! I swear that I was saying the same thing at 2 months and my Pedi and DH both said I was crazy, its too early... Now at 3 months his 2 bottom front teeth are coming in for sure! We're already breaking the gums, its crazy, but it happens.

my DS had a tooth come in at 10 days. we took him to the dentist at 4 weeks to make sure the tooth was rooted, which it was. so, definitely a possibility!
feel his gums for the tooth under the surface, but either way you'll know soon if one pops through.

My brother was teething at 6 weeks-too young to realize he should bite down to help it. All mom could do was use orajel.

My daughters tooth started popping out at about 9 weeks and there is a second one about ready to come out now too. She has also been doing a lot of hand chewing and drooling all over the place.
