Seems like a no brainer to me!!! Are fireworks legal in GA??? (DD was due on July 4th, but little miss impatient decided to come on Father's Day... Evidently she's just obsessed with holidays...)
I'M a July 4th baby and I always had red, white, blue themed b-days! It was a tradition. My mom made me flag cakes every year. Sometimes she would do a round cake and ice the top as a flag, and sometimes she would bake it in a 9X13 pan and ice the top like a flag (this really did make it look like a flag cause it was in a rectangle).
She also bought me a red/white/blue outfit to wear every year. She was pretty awesome at my b-days.
And I loved it every year. It never got old.

Re: 4th of July Baby
For sure!
My older one was born July 6th. I love that his birthday is close to a fun holiday :-) His first birthday outfit was red, white, and blue too!

I think it's a great idea---so cute and it will be so easy to find decorations!
