Baby Wearing Help/Suggestions Please!

Hello All!

I wrote this on 6-9, and they thought I might get some more help here. So Im looking to purchase a carrier(and maybe a sling depending?!) My daughter weighs close to 17 pounds now, and I need something that I can use for quick trips and I also need something for our vacation we will be going on next month(longer trips). Something comfy(of course...)

Tell me what you all are using?!

Most moms on here will say wraps but I am not a wrapping girl. For short trips a ring sling is nice but I can't wear him for long trips in it (he's 18 lbs). I LOVE my SSC's. I have an Ergo. I love it. It distributes DS's weight evenly so it's not all in one spot. I also have a Didymos (sp) wrap. I do love that as well but it is super long and I haven't quite got the hang of it so it takes a while. I don't recommend a sling It puts a lot of pressure on your back and shoulder.

A Mei Tai (Babyhawk, ToddlerHawk, other brands I don't know)

Ergo, Beco, Boba.

I recommend all. They're all pretty quick and easy (minute-2 minutes put on time). I love them all!

DS is 17 lbs. I love my Ergo. I'd recommend a Baby K'Tan over a sling. I loved my sling, but DS is getting too heavy for me to use the sling comfortably.
