We are haircut nazis here! Lincoln got his first one at 8 weeks (WEEKS) old!! Nolan was buzzed at 8 months, and Gwen is gearing up for her first clean-up/trim next week! The boys have a standing 3-week apt because they grow so fast, and they just look better with shorter hair.

Three on top, and two on the sides!

    Damn girl!

    You need to get a clipper and do those boys at HOME!

    No sense in paying all that cash every 3 weeks if you know what attachments to use.

    We don't go as often as you but we alternate 1 at home trim and 1 in the salon so it gets nicely cleaned up from time to time.

    I'd be broke taking them both every 3 weeks! 

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

    My neighbor is a hair stylist, and works out of her home. I watch her son when she needs, and she manscapes for us...

    She also will do my hair when need be, but I try to not abuse it!

    I was *just* going to say this! My DH bought clippers a year ago and makes me cut his hair (and he doesn't buzz it). It's much easier than you think it will be, and if their hair grows that fast, it won't even matter (for long) if you mess up!

    If I tried to do Nicholas' hair myself, it would be a diseaster.   I can picture him jerking his head from side to side. He would end up with a real mohawk, and not cause I'm a cool mom.   

    He gets his haircut  every 2 months or so.  I'm very lazy about it.  The next time he gets it cut will probably be either right before he has pictures taken at school or before the baby comes- whichever comes first.  And he doesn't get buzzed, they use scissors on him.
