FFFC with a hint of TMI

I don't want to have sex.

Like, at all.  It's been a couple of months.

I'm just so tired, and my day is full of baby stuff and dirty diapers and pregnancy bloat and giving a tiny human being my full attention, and I just have nothing left for grownup stuff.  Rom has been very sweet and understanding, but he's sad and lonely.  I think I could probably manage to get into some kind of mood, but Rom'll go without showering on a weekend, or not shave for a long time, or go to the bathroom with the door wide open, or any number of really not sexy things and it just doesn't help at ALL.

*sigh*

    I can so totally relate to this, I feel the same way although I don't have the pregnancy to contribute to it.  I just have no interest at all.  I know it's because I spend all day either at work or dealing with babies, or both, AND I am not getting near enough sleep at night - if I manage to get a hint of free time I just want to relax and do something that I want to do and then get to bed as early as possible.  My DH is only being semi-understanding, he still tries at least once a week to get something going.  Usually when he brings it up I try to let him know I am completely uninterested but I guess since he's gotten his way a few times he figures if he just keeps pushing it will work again - I wish he'd understand that I really really don't want to and leave me alone for, oh, about 9 more months!

    Pepper - I am right there with you. And I have so much guilt because of it. Everytime DH starts sending signals I come up with excuses. It just seems like one more chore to do - I honestly prefer he take care of business on his own. And I used to be such a horndog, which makes it even more frustrating....

    ugh. i am big on all bathroom activities must be private. some things just should not be shared. also, if i take care of myself, then he has to as well!!!

    You have a toddler AND you're pregnant. Forget sex, tell Rom you're taking a break from it. Maybe get him some porn videos or something :o
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    I'm too blunt sometimes (bane of being an Aries) and I'd just flat out say to Rom: shower and keep bathroom time private and perhaps I'll be interested in some nookie.
