Stuck in Limbo H*ll! (vent. obviously)
So I was seen for a normal prenatal checkup on Wednesday. Protein found in urine - apparently a high amount. They sent me to Labor and Delivery telling me I would PROBABLY have the C-Section that day.
Get down there. Levels are okay. They send me home with a jug to do 24-hour urine catch. I was to bring that back last night at 7p.m. They would test me in the clinic and send the urine out for analysis. Was told again - Don't eat/drink any thing for 8 hours in case we do the Section.
Get there - Levels in clinic are high but not as high as previously. Told to go home and have dinner but then not eating anything after midnight in case they do the surgery in the morning. They said they'd have results by 9a.m. and call me then to let me know whether we're doing it or not.
Get called at 9a.m. Results not in yet. Continue to not eat in case they have to do the surgery.
I'm hungry and I want to know if I'm having a friggin' baby today or not!

Ugh, that sucks! I'd go crazy not being able to eat something while waiting to hear one way or the other. Like a pp said, a hungry momma (to-be or not-to-be) does not equal a happy momma!
