I have been wanting to tell you that I love the idea that you have done regarding the date night book you made for your DH. I hope you don't mind me using this idea, but I think this was a great idea!
I wanted to ask you though, do you just write in "date night" on that day or do you already have it pre-planned what the date is going to be? What type of of "date night in" ideas do you have? I have really wanted to start implementing more date time between DH and I and I am not creative at all. Thank you! ![]()

Thank you! Of course, you can steal my idea! My husband's work schedule is always changing so it's nearly impossible to pick what the date is going to be very far in advance. So, I made a book of 3 x 4 cards. I used scrapbook paper and stickers to decorate. I wrote the month on one card followed by an "out" date and an "in" date. Some out dates are: sledding and hot chocolate, bike the Lake Front, dinner at a brewery, drive in movie, go to a dinner theater, picnic in the park, a "coupon" date (we go only to places that we found coupons for...or we have an Entertainment book and we randomly open to a page for a restaurant and an activity), canoeing, etc. Some in dates are: TV marathon, picnic in the living room, cook together, watch a classic movie, Wii Olympics challenge, etc.
I got a lot of great date ideas from these websites:
niftydateideas.com
coolestdates.com
I've also done it before where I bought a calendar and I picked random dates throughout each month and scheduled something fun. Sometimes it was a date, sometimes it was just time to talk, sometimes it was a "sexy" date. It was kind of fun.
Good luck coming up with ideas!
