tell me your experiance with paraguard

trying to decide between mirena and paraguard.  seems like periods are much heavier with paraguard, yet i like that it is hormone free.

    I have the paraguard copper IUD and, yes, my periods are heavier than before. I hate that but, since DH won't get the big V and I can't take hormones, it's our only option.

    I just got mine out but had it in for almost 2 years. Yes the first day of my period was super heavy but after that it was pretty normal. I liked that you actually get your period because with the Mirena you sometimes stop getting it altogether.I didn't want to worry about being PG each month,
