I'd like to take a class with my husband that focuses on caring for our baby - bathing her etc. Whenever I google "infant care class" it gives me day care providers. Did any of you take such a class and if so where?
Daniella - when we were expecting, my husband and I took a few classes offered by INOVA. They have classes at most of their campuses, and they were all well-done. I believe they do offer a parenting skills course. Also, I know it may feel a little down-to-the-wire to you, but when you deliver, the nurses will help you with all of the babycare basics - diapers, bathing, swaddling, bottle/breast feeding. I delivered at Fairfax Hosp and the nurses were fantastic there! Good luck to you.
Re: Recommend Infant Care Classes (NoVa)
We took the childbirth class at Virginia Hospital that included a session on infant care basics.

I also found this link for classes connected to GWU hospital in DC, though we didn't use these classes.
