I like the tips in here about how shocked children can be in an emergency, and the importance of practicing. Also that you can get a recordable fire alarm.

As much as DH and I try to be "prepared" (haha) there's still plenty we need to get on top of in case of something like this.

I know there's a website- I can't remember the name- where I need to enter the serial numbers for our pricier electronics.  That's definitely on my short-list as well.
