DS was doing good with the walking, taking 3-4 steps on his own. Then yesterday and today, he is not even attempting it, and goes straight down to his knees when he runs out of something to hold. He hasn't fallen or anything to make him afraid. He doesn't even need my hand when he is walking, but I am there for security, he is balancing fine...
Anyone else have major set backs after getting so close. I feel like he is never going to walk at this point!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Re: 3 steps forward, 1 crawl back
DD did this... she took a few steps, then a few more, then stopped for awhile. She didn't actually walk until she was 16 months old. I was getting worried (although the pedi wasn't at all since she had taken steps by then) and I really wanted her to be able to move to the toddler room at daycare!! She was stuck with the infants a few months longer than we would have liked!
I think it's normal... he'll walk soon enough!!
