I actually got a replacement pump from Medela a couple a months ago for unexplained loss of suction (and it definitely had the clicking noise). If you have an issue with your pump and it was in this time frame I definitely recommend contacting them - they should send you out a brand new one.

Re: Medela PISA recall
interesting - I don't know. Once I clicked on the letter it narrowed the time frame to just ones manufactured in Feb/Mar 2010. I know mine was manufactured before that but it did have a loud click anytime I turned it past about 1/3 of the dial. I didn't know that wasn't normal until it started to just loose suction after 5mo of regular use. I called them and they sent me a new one that doesn't click and seems to work better.
I did notice there was a sticker on the side of the pump itself with a month/date.
But like I said, mine was manufactured before this window and exhibited some of the same signs before this came recall came out and like they replaced it with a brand new one after I called them, which seems to be their normal procedure regardless of recall for faulty pumps..
