Who else is dilated to 3 cm or more?

I know there are a few of us... anything new?

As of last Monday, I was 3cm. As of this Monday, I'm 3cm and 70% effaced (not sure what the effacement was last week - but OB said there was progress over the week). Lost my MP last Tuesday, then more on Thursday.

But nothing since. I had a couple of days where I would get some timeable contractions, but then they petered out.

I know that being dilated means nothing more than your body is preparing... but man am I ready for something to happen! With DD I was 1-2 cm dilated, 80% effaced at 37 weeks, and my water broke a couple of days later. I wasn't walking around like this for so long, so it's new to me.

I have been 3cm dilated for 2 weeks now. I don't know about effacement because he said during second or third pregnancies (this is my third) you usually dilate first and then efface. Weird...anyone else heard this? But I have not seen any sign of my MP...so who knows. With #2 I walked around at 3cm for 3 weeks before I went into labor...I guess I'm in for the same this time too, I am being induced next Friday which will make it 3 weeks of being at 3cm. I'm totally fine with that though...I'm looking forward to a week of rest and relaxation next week!!!

As of yesterday I'm 4cm. She said she could almost stretch me to a 5 because my cervix was so soft. (She didn't, but oh my WORD she was rough because she had to reach so far up to get to my paper thin cervix.)

The way she made it sound was that she was surprised I didn't have a baby falling out of my vagina right then. Hopefully this is a good thing.

I am 1 cm and have been for 3 weeks now and 70% effaced. This is my 2nd. DS came 12 days early. I will be 39 weeks on Saturday. Dr. Said yesterday that I will probably just "go into labor". I wish it would hurry up because i am beyond ready. I am achy, crampy and just plain over being pregnant.

I am...and 70% thinned...I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow so hopefully he will be checking to see if I've progressed..(it's a stand in doctor since mine was on vacation this week) but I am so ready.

On Monday I was 3-4cm, 80%, and -2 station. She said she could feel the head although I wonder how that is possible if he is still that high. Then again, the internal seemed really rough and thorough. That same day I went on a 10-hour false labor spree but I have barely had any BH since then. Oh and on Tuesday I lost what seemed like a giant MP.

I started feeling a lot more energetic though last night and today, so maybe something will happen soon.

I honestly don't know my dilation at this point. I was 1 cm, 20% effaced at 36 weeks but between appointments baby finished dropping and engaged, and I've started to have more regular and intense contractions, so there could be change (maybe lol). My doctor doesn't re-check until you're in what appears to be labor.

Last week at 36 weeks I was a 2 and 80% effaced. Tuesday I went to L & D ended up being false labor and today I am a 3!! So excited I don't think I will last much longer.
