Oh oh. DH just diagnosed me with SAHM Brain

And I think he's right.

They were having another "princess culture" debate on TV, and a woman gave the example that the only female characters on Sesame Street are a fairy (Abby) and ballerina (Zoe).

I then went off on how I think that's a bunch of crap because Abby is smart, and Zoe may spend her days in a tutu but she's a rough and tumble kind of girl who doesn't take any gruff and what about Neela? Isn't she a cool small business owner?  And Gina, who worked to put herself through vet school and has a thriving practice and is a strong independent single adoptive Mom?

Yeah, I need to get out more.

    ha, I love it! And since my girls are Abby and Zoey, I will definitely have them watch Sesame Street when they're old enough!
