1. If you had $1,000 to donate to a charity, which would you choose? Something dealing with arts in the schools. It irritates me to no end that our country doesn't understand the importance.

2. Snow days: Do you welcome them happily or are they a pain in your butt? I don't know what I did to make the font smaller. Oh well, since I don't work and have no intention to drive in the snow since I grew up in Houston, I welcome them. Columbia shuts down for snow so it's perfect for me. Plus, DH gets to stay home with us!

3. What talent did you wish you had and why? I wish I still knew how to read music. I played piano and flute in high school and can remember very little.

4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie? Yes! Mainly politics right now and I do buy a smut magazine every once in awhile.

5. What is your favorite "cocktail"? (Are you a beer person, a kiddie cocktail junkie, or perhaps your more the "Cosmo" kind?! Anything flies...doesn't hafta be alcoholic!) Dirty Martini! Like, more olive juice than gin

1. Hands down the MS society. Every year when I do the walk and have to get up stupid early I have to remind myself that I get up and walk 10K so that one day my mom may again. That $1000 would be well donated

2. Pain in the butt because the last real one we had was in 1997 - Rain or shine, 5 feet of snow or not the City of Calgary does not shut down... Now if I lived in Toronto maybe...

3. I would totally be a comic book artist. Nerdy, yep! Super awesome, hellz yeah!

4. I am a news junkie. I will read a paper inside and out, check out their websites, and still take in the evening news if time permits.

5. Gin martini extra olives or a nice cold Molson Canadian on a summers day. Mmm mmm!

1. If you had to choose $1k to donate to charity, which one? Probably something to do w/animals. Some sort of rescue, ASPCA, etc.

2. Snow days. Welcome them or pain? Both? I always like an extra day off but have to use PTO to cover them which sucks.

3. What talent do you wish that you had and why? I wish that I was good at sports. Any sport would do. I'm just terrible. lol

4. News, Politics, or Celebrity Gossip Junkie? Def Celebrity Gossip.

5. Fav cocktail? Mojitos! Especially Dragonberry Mojitos!

2. Snow days. Welcome them or pain? Pain, because my work doesn't close. If I worked somewhere where we closed (and still got paid), I'd be all for them!

3. What talent do you wish that you had and why? The ability to play any music instrument

4. News, Politics, or Celebrity Gossip Junkie? News & Celebrity Gossip. Though I admit I don't know who half the people are in People magazine anymore!

5. Fav cocktail? Gin & tonic, or flavored martinis. I'm a beer girl too. Don't care for wine.

3. What talent did you wish you had and why? I have always wished I learned how to play the piano.

1. If you had $1,000 to donate to a charity, which would you choose? Something like the Humane Society or another animal rescue.

2. Snow days: Do you welcome them happily or are they a pain in your butt? They are really not applicable to me. I am a SAHM and kids aren't in school yet. And DH doesn't have a job where he can generally stay home.

3. What talent did you wish you had and why? I wish I could play an instrument (piano likely). Or at least sing better. I'm ok, but would love to be great.

4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie? Hate politics, but I do love my celeb news!

If you mean snowing outside days, I'm not really a fan of driving. Actually snow days, I don't get, we are open no matter what.

3. What talent did you wish you had and why? That I could carry a tune. I would love to be able to sing pretty songs to my daughter, instead of way off key.

1. If you had to choose $1k to donate to charity, which one? A Children's orphanage

2. Snow days. Welcome them or pain? Any excuse to stay home w/ DD is a good one. But, I would have some serious concerns regarding global warming if coastal Southern California was ever snowed out.

3. What talent do you wish that you had and why? It would be cool to play guitar really well. DH has been a drummer for 30 years and it would be fun to rock out with him.

4. News, Politics, or Celebrity Gossip Junkie? I'm more of a blog junkie.

5. Fav cocktail? I havn't had hard alcohol since before I was pregnant. In theory I like beer but I have trouble even finishing one now.

1. If you had $1,000 to donate to a charity, which would you choose? Lately I have found that I would like to get involved with our state's initiative to end childhood hunger. So it would go there.

2. Snow days: Do you welcome them happily or are they a pain in your butt? As a former teacher I actually hated them as I always had plans for the day, now they are great. We love to play in the snow.

3. What talent did you wish you had and why? I wish that I would play the piano. I love piano music.

4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie? News junkie. I turn it on first thing in the AM before DS gets up, catch it during his nap, and after he goes to bed.

5. What is your favorite "cocktail"?I love pina coladas, and any fruity drink really. Honestly I don't drink alcohol, never really have, but for some reason this pregnancy I have wanted some (I havent had anything though, of course).

1. A local humane society or the world wildlife fund.

2. Love snow days! I guess it brings back that excitement from when I was a kid and we got the day off school. Those are the best days to bake cookies, go sledding, then come back inside to drink hot chocolate.

3. I wish I was a natural runner. DH loves running and I can see how great of a feeling it must be to run for miles and miles but I just can't do it.

4. Probably news junkie.

5. Beer. I do enjoy a glass of wine but a good cold beer is my top choice.
