I go to pick up Sabrina today from daycare and I hear, "She's in here!! Sabrina's in here!!"
She was getting her diaper changed.. in the TODDLER room. Wha?!? Where are all the babies crying for food or to be held? trying to crawl? wanting to sit up?
I've been wondering when this would happen. I don't think they generally move them into the Toddler room till 15 months but since she's a pro walker and eater and off the bottle... it was just a matter of time (plus they keep taking in new babies and they can't have more than 12). She's not in there FT yet but she was in there from 10am, took her nap in there, ate her lunch and snack in there, etc. They said she did great and she was happy as a clam when I picked her up. It was definitely kind of weird...
I really am so incredibly proud of this little chica. Every single day it's something new... something that just makes me feel like THE luckiest person alive.
She's napping right now (late, I know) because we were playing and she kept coming up to me with her baby doll and laying on me. I asked, "Do you want to take a nap?" She looked at me and I said, "C'mon, let's go take a nap." She picked up her baby doll and walked to her room. I picked her up and laid her down and she's napping.
I mean, who does this?!
So blessed, I am.
Re: my big girl
I ovulated just reading your posting.
She is so wonderful!
I am now motivated to finish up my work and head home to my sweet boy!
Aww, I'm sure she'll do great in the toddler room. C's daycare has a 1 y/o room that she recently transitioned to but she hasn't been able to let go of her old teacher and she has to come in her new room every morning to help get Caroline settled. She freaks a little when Miss K isn't there.

They grow so fast. It is such a joy to experience all the new things but a little bittersweet that they are getting big so quickly.
It sounds like S is doing great in the toddler room already she is one adaptable little one.
