Buying outfit gift for twins? Sizes? Opinions please.

My husband's boss is having twin girls in April or May (depending on the babies of course) and I am at a loss for what size outfits to buy them. We're giving her a pack of NB diapers and then DH wants me to find a cute outfit for each of them. I was thinking NB size since they're always tiny when born, but then do I get them summer outfits or do I buy that in 0-3? Opinions please!!!

    Seeing as twins are delivered early - they will wear the newborn sizes longer than single babies. But I guess it depends on what you find or want to give them. If you don't mind, just include a gift receipt. You can buy summer outfits in either size and they should be able to still wear them.

    I think you should get them something springy/early summer in NB sizes.  I feel like 0-3/3m is such a popular size to buy for gifts...I know I have an overflowing drawer of 3m stuff!  Twins will be in NB sizes longer, so it's a safe bet.  Otherwise I would suggest something in either 6 or 9 months for the appropriate season.
