& what is your biggest skin concern? I'm obviously not happy with what I use or I wouldn't be posting, but I am using cetaphil to wash, Aveeno for day lotion, and Neutrogena for night. And I have an eye cream that I never use because I forget. I feel like I need more moisture and I'm getting concerned about lines around my lips. Ugh...
Re: Mamas in your 30s: what do you use on your skin?
I am a huge philosophy girl. I noticed such a difference when I started using their products.
My fave is "hope is not enough" moisturizer and the "purity" wash, but right now I am trying out the "microdelivery" wash and like that too
I am getting some serious forehead lines, so next time I head to Sephora I am going to check out what they have for overnight

I just started using the Olay pro line and in a matter of 4 days I've seen a noticeable improvement. So I'm liking that. I've also changed up the diet some after reading how it affects your skin. Eating brussel sprouts helps your cells turn over faster and supports collagen production.
I was curious about the Philosophy products.
I just use neutrogena face wash and cetaphil lotion. At night I use a neutrogena wipe to take off my makeup. I use Bare Essentials makeup and use their eye cream.
I was using a bunch of stuff from clinique and had super dry skin and my face was peeling off so I went to the dermatologist and he told me to throw that crap away and to use the cetaphil and neutrogena. Keep it simple.
I use olay daily cleanser and then I use oil free glo-therapeutics on my face and neck. I use Vaseline around my eyes every night and my lips too.
ETA: I am seriously considering some botox
I have no product suggestions but at 42, having seen the aging process in myself and all my friends, I can offer two tips:
1) always be sure to moisturize your neck along with your face;
2) always, ALWAYS use sunblock on your face.
People don't realize how much your neck can age you. And the sunspots that develop around 40 bother me a lot more than wrinkles do.
I started Botox when I was 35 (no more injections for me until after baby arrives). I am by nature a "forehead scruncher" so I had many lines in my forehead. LOVE LOVE LOVE Botox. I can see how women get addicted to injections.
I also used Renova before I got pg. Definitely improved the conditon of my skin (but expensive, at $250/tube)
I get asked a lot what I use on my skin, especially my eyes.
I used to use Philosophy, but after a while, it really didn't do much for my skin. Before that, I used Cetaphil and it was ok. And before that I used Chanel soap, but that's discontinued.
I now use Mary Kay timewise and it's really made a difference. I can go out with no makeup and still look fine.........
I have VERY dry skin - I peel a lot if it's not treated correctly.
GL! Finding good skin products is hard. Especially ones that work on your skin.
Is it too late for me?! I'm 28. I used to lay in the sun and the tanning bed in high school and college. I don't anymore and now I lather on the spf 45 or 50. I don't see the effects of the tanning yet, but I'm afraid I will regret it all later. I have a face moisturizer (Loreal - Vitamin E), but that's about the extent of my nightly/daily ritual.
I am 38 and have been using Olay Regenerist's daily face wash and moisturizer. It seems to be working ok. I have pretty young looking skin, like my mom and her mom. I think part of it is heredity and partly because I was never one to lay out in the sun (I am white as a ghost and burn easily).
I have to say I'm surprised by the pp who said they are already getting or are considering using Botox. More power to you. I could never do it. Not that I won't go down without a fight, but I guess I'm more of a 'let Nature take it's course' kinda gal. Just the thought of them sticking those needles in my face is almost enough to make me pass out.
I totally agree because I tried Mary Kay a few years ago and it was horrible for my skin. I know lots of people swear by it (like you), but it was definitely not the right product for me.
