GERD/Zantac babies

Our baby was dx w/ acute GERD yesterday, and started Zantac. The dr said it would take a week to work. Anyone have faster results? Or any advice for me? She is EBF.

    No advice but the Zantac worked for us for a week, then didn't.  So we upped the dosage (per dr's orders) and it worked for another week, then didn't.  

    Now we're on Prevacid and that works great!

    Our doctor told us we would see a difference in 48 hours, and we did.  Zantac worked for about a month and a half, then we had to go to Prevacid.
