husband + 2 children w/ diseases

Someone I know just had their 2nd child, they were never suppose to be able to have children so both PGs were a surprise. After her 1st child she ended up getting PG 3 months after #1 was born.
Her 1st child was a premie and has a whole load of medical problems, from her legs, to feet, hole in a heart that needed surgery, and some other problems and disease. This recent PG everything looked great although she did have some issues with PTL but LO waited until 38wks to show up. LO#2 is roughly 2 weeks old now and even though it was a healthy PG they just found out that LO#2 has cystic fibrosis as well as something where her trachea is underdeveloped causing breathing problems.
Adding on top of two children who have life long medical issues, her husband also has MS (has for a long time).
I am amazed at all the bumps in the road that they have traveled and still have to travel. They most definitely are a strong family. I can't even imagine the feelings that they have gone through. My heart goes out to them!

Holy smokes... If I didn't 'know' you I'd call MUD!
That is so sad that that woman has so much to deal with already with her husband having MS, and now she has 2 babies that she just can't save either.
Even the strongest women need a support system made of steel. I certainly hope their families are stepping up to the plate to help out, having a newborn with a baby that young is so hard. (I have friends who got pg again when their baby was only 5 months old, and it's a very hard age gap to deal with.)
That family needs some fantastic support around them.
I wish it were MUD for their sakes! I almost didn't believe it myself when I read her announcement on facebook. They have a great support system through family and friends though and have found a lot of strength through their faith. It is one of those situations that you wish you could help take away some of their hardships but you can't.
