Last day of work tomorrow..

I can't wait to start my maternity leave.  I was going to try to work until my due date but a couple weeks ago I opted to take the week before off. I'm so glad I did.  The commute back and forth has been wearing me down. I drive over an hour each way and very often spend a lot of time in slow moving traffic.  Not to mention the fun of all the snow we've been having.  I'm going to be off for 6 months although I told the boss that they could call/email me if they need anything while I'm out.

After work mom and I are going for mani/pedi's which will feel so great. Now all I need is to be able to get off my street tomorrow morning, since there's still a ton of snow.

    YAY for mani/peds and for being off work. Enjoy your time off, I have become so lazy though. Im sure that won't last long.

    Woo hoo!

    I wish I was going to get a pedi as well (not much for mani's). My feet are hoooorrible between the winter weather and the puffiness,

    I left work 2 weeks before DD was born and LOVED it! It was so nice to have that extra "me" time and make sure I had everything in order.

    And yay about the mani/pedi. I was just telling DH that next week I'm going for a pedi. I'm in desperate need. Although I did drop a table on my foot yesterday so hopefully the pain and bruising will be gone before I go.

    Good for you! Enjoy that "me" time...so far I'm still working until a few days before EDD, but we'll see if I can continue to handle it. They left it kind of flexible. As far as the pedi goes, I got one for my birthday on Tuesday, and my feet look/feel so much better (even if they are still puffy, at least it's in a decorated kind of way, lol!)

    Today's my last day too! I originally planned to work up until my due date but decided a few weeks ago to go out a week early. I am sooo excited. Feels like the last day of school!
